Fantasy Football: One QB, RB, WR, and TE primed for huge Week 10 performances
By Lior Lampert
TE: Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
After scoring a season-high 28 PPR fantasy points in Week 9, Dalton Schultz could be back for more in Week 10 when the Texans face the Bengals. There is an old saying in fantasy football: “Death, taxes, and start your tight ends against the Bengals.” The Bengals have been the leakiest defensive unit in fantasy football when it comes to tight ends, allowing 16.0 PPR points per game per Fantasy Football Toolbox.
Not only is the matchup favorable, but quarterback CJ Stroud is coming off the best game of his young career and will look to build off that performance. Schultz has scored double-digit PPR fantasy points in four of his past five games, earning at least seven targets in three games during that span. He has become one of Stroud’s favorite targets and should be busy again this week, especially with wide receiver Nico Collins being ruled out due to a calf injury.
Between the matchup, Stroud’s current form, and Collins being out for this game, Schultz makes for a must-start option in Week 10. After finishing as the overall TE1 in Week 9, he could replicate that performance and it certainly helps that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is on bye this week.
