Fantasy football: One QB, RB, WR, and TE primed for huge Week 11 performances
By Lior Lampert
TE: Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys
Through 10 weeks, Jake Ferguson has been the overall TE9 in PPR fantasy football formats. In that span, he’s quickly become a favorite target of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who is currently playing at an MVP-caliber level.
Since the Cowboys Week 7 bye, Ferguson has averaged seven targets per game and scored a touchdown in three consecutive games. Over that span, Ferguson has eclipsed double-digit PPR fantasy points, averaging 16.5 PPR points per game (TE6).
On the season, Ferguson leads all tight ends in red zone targets (17), clearly establishing himself as Prescott’s go-to option when the Cowboys get near the end zone. Ferguson has firmly entrenched himself as the No. 2 option in a Cowboys aerial attack that has leaned into the passing game. Per Next Gen Stats, the Cowboys have a plus-9.9 pass rate over expected since their Week 7 bye, which ranks first in the NFL.
Per DraftKings Sportsbook, the Cowboys have one of the highest implied scoring totals of the week (26.5), suggesting that there should be an abundance of scoring opportunities for Ferguson in this game.
Between Prescott’s current level of play, the Cowboys’ willingness to throw the football, and Ferguson’s role in the red zone in a game where the Cowboys are expected to rack up points, Ferguson will look to extend his touchdown streak and is primed for a monster Week 11 performance.
