Fantasy Football: One QB, RB, WR, and TE primed for huge Week 13 performances
By Lior Lampert
In a week with six teams on bye, many fantasy football managers are in a tight spot with their playoff hopes on the line. Getting these players in your lineup should help alleviate the bye week issues.
The fantasy football season is beginning to wind down and the time for fantasy managers to make a playoff push. Whether you are right or wrong, one lineup/roster decision could change the outlook of your entire season.
With that in mind, these four players have week-winning upside and need to be plugged into Week 13 fantasy football lineups, especially with six teams on bye.
Here is one QB, RB, WR, and TE who are primed for huge Week 13 fantasy football performances.
QB: Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos
Russell Wilson and the Broncos have quietly salvaged their season after a 1-5 start, winning each of their past five games. Now, they will face the Texans in Week 13, who rank 27th in the NFL in opponent passing yards per game (252.5).
According to ESPN’s Liz Loza, the Texans have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Wilson has a chance to have a big day through the air against a porous Texans pass defense in a game where the Over/Under for the Broncos-Texans game is 47.5 per FanDuel Sportsbook, tied for the second-highest implied total of the Week 13 slate.
Wilson has had at least eight rushes in three of his past four games and has recorded at least 30 rushing yards in five of his past seven games, providing him with reasonable rushing upside too.
CJ Stroud and the Texans offense have been firing on all cylinders which could force Wilson and Co. to have to keep pace with their scoring in what is expected to be a shootout. This game sets up as a fantasy-friendly environment with Wilson being one of the biggest beneficiaries.
