TE: Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars

Entering Week 13, Evan Engram ranks first in the NFL in targets without a touchdown this season (82), per Fantasy Life’s Ian Haritz. Despite the lack of touchdowns this season, Engram has been the overall TE8 in PPR formats this season, ranking third in receptions (64) and sixth in receiving yards (524) among tight ends.

Now, Engram faces a Bengals defense that has been amongst the worst in the NFL in terms of defending the tight end position this season. The Bengals have allowed the second-most PPR fantasy points per game to tight ends, are tied with the Broncos for the second-most receptions allowed to tight ends (70), and have allowed the second-most receiving yards to opposing tight ends (776) this season. In other words, Engram couldn’t ask for a more ideal matchup.

Engram has seen at least seven targets in all but two of the 11 games he’s played this season, averaging 7.45 targets per contest. His role within the Jaguars offense combined with the dream matchup against a Bengals defense that hasn’t been able to defend tight ends sets him up for a big fantasy day.

Bold prediction: Engram scores his first touchdown of the season en route to a massive fantasy performance on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
