#2. Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor

The second Colts player on the list, Jonathan Taylor is a player that most fantasy owners have been holding onto since they first did their drafts. However, the last time we saw Taylor play at a high level was in 2021, when he was a first-team All-Pro and led the NFL in rushing touchdowns.

Even though the 24-year-old did manage to rush for 861 yards and four scores in 11 games in 2022, roughly half of those yards came in two games against the Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders. Taylor also scored once in each game, leaving his other two scores spread out over the other nine games. It was a very half-baked and injury-marred season for No. 28, and now there's no guarantee he plays for the Colts, even if healthy.

Moss has performed extremely well in Taylor's stead, so Indianapolis shouldn't feel obligated to throw Taylor back into the fray. The Colts are reportedly still asking for a 'high second-round pick' for their star tailback, and further reports from ESPN's Dan Graziano state that suggest Taylor will continue to refuse playing for Indy as long as the Colts won't meet his contractual demands.

It's still a messy situation in Indianapolis, and even though Taylor can return in Week 5, no guarantees can be made. For fantasy football managers currently in a bad spot in their leagues, it might be best to use this opportunity to leverage a trade and move Taylor while you can.
