Gardner Minshew, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Minshew had his fourth straight game with less than 250 passing yards (224), and for the third time in his last four he had one or zero touchdowns passes (one) on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

So why is he on this list for Week 18? It’s all about the matchup. The Houston Texans entered Week 17 allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring). Let’s just throw out Sunday, when Will Levis and Ryan Tannehill combined for 184 passing yards and zero touchdowns. On that latter note, Houston has allowed the third-most fantasy points over expectation to quarterbacks this season.

Minshew has been more efficient than proficient lately, with multiple passing scores in just two of his last six games, and whatever he might ever add with legs has mostly dried up. But his matchup in Week 18 is too good to just ignore, so he’s on the radar as a streamer.
