Fantasy Football: One QB, RB, WR, and TE primed for huge Week 3 performances
By Lior Lampert
WR: DJ Moore, Chicago Bears
We cannot let Justin Fields’ poor start to the season prevent us from starting DJ Moore. He is as talented a receiver as they come and has overcome bad quarterback play throughout his entire career. Week 3 offers Moore what could be the most ideal fantasy football environment a wide receiver could ask for.
The Bears are 12.5-point underdogs versus the reigning Super Bowl Champion Chiefs, meaning the Bears should be playing from behind early and often in this game, and will be forced to throw the ball while playing catchup. Not to mention, with Chiefs All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones back in the mix after signing his contract extension, running the ball on the Chiefs defense isn’t going to be easy. They’re going to need Fields to make plays with his arm and he should look Moore’s way as often as he can.
Moore turned seven targets into six receptions and 104 yards in Week 2 against the Bucs and will look to carry his fantasy football momentum into Week 3 against the Chiefs. There is a good chance he exceeds seven targets this week given the matchup.
