Fantasy football: One QB, RB WR, and TE primed for huge Week 12 performances
By Lior Lampert
In a week where all 32 teams are playing, it can make start/sit decisions increasingly difficult. However, these players need to be in your lineup ahead of Week 12 if they’re on your roster.
While some fantasy managers had plenty to be thankful for on Thanksgiving, others did not. Depending on which side of the spectrum you’re on, you may either have a generous lead heading into Sunday or face a hefty deficit.
These four players can help managers offset some of the impressive Thanksgiving Day performances and need to be plugged into fantasy football lineups.
Here is one QB, RB, WR, and TE who are primed for huge Week 12 fantasy football performances.
QB: Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence is coming off his best game of the 2023 season and will look to carry that momentum into a pivotal Week 12 divisional matchup against the Texans. Last week, Lawrence completed 75 percent of his passes for 262 and scored four touchdowns while leading the Jaguars to a 34-14 victory over the Titans.
Now, he faces a Texans defense that ranks 25th in opponent passing yards per game (241.4) in a game that boasts one of the highest expected scoring totals of the week (over/under 47.5 points per ESPN Bet).
Lawrence began to get hot down the stretch of the season at this point last year too when he was the overall QB6 from Weeks 12-18, suggesting this could be a noteworthy trend where he saves his plays his best football in crunch time.
Given the momentum Lawrence is entering this game with and the matchup against an inviting Texans secondary in a contest where the AFC South divisional crown is on the line, expect another monster outing from Lawrence. Moments like this are why the Jaguars selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
