Fantasy football: One QB, RB WR, and TE primed for huge Week 12 performances
By Lior Lampert
WR: Tank Dell, Houston Texans
The budding connection between rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and rookie wide receiver Tank Dell is getting stronger each passing week. Over the past three weeks, Dell has averaged 25.8 PPR fantasy points per game, good for the overall WR3 in that span.
Dell has seen a more consistent workload in recent weeks while wide receivers Nico Collins and Noah Brown tend to their respective injuries and has taken advantage of the opportunity to a point where the Texans can’t go away from Dell now, even when/if they’re healthy.
Dell has recorded double-digit targets in three consecutive games, earning 35 targets during that span. Any time he sees a big workload, he produces. In the other two games this season where he’s seen at least seven targets, he’s scored 20-plus PPR fantasy points.
Now, Dell and the Texans face a Jaguars defense that ranks 29th in opponent passing yards per game (254.4) and will be without their top cornerback, Tyson Campbell, in Week 12. In a game that features the third-highest over/under of the week per Caesar’s Sportsbook, Dell should have no shortage of scoring opportunities in a fantasy-friendly environment.
