Fantasy football: One QB, RB WR, and TE primed for huge Week 12 performances
By Lior Lampert
TE: David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
In rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s two starts this season, David Njoku has seen 22 combined targets. That is elite usage that provides Njoku with a reasonable floor and massive ceiling coming into a Week 12 matchup against a Broncos defense that allows a league-high 72.2 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends.
Njoku has recorded double-digit PPR fantasy points in five straight games and six of his past seven games. Njoku has become the most reliable pass-catching option on the Browns and will continue to operate as Thompson-Robinson’s security blanket in the middle of the field.
The Broncos have allowed a tight end to go for at least 50 receiving yards and/or score a touchdown in seven of their 10 games this season. Given the Broncos struggles defending the tight end position throughout the season and Thompson-Robinson’s willingness to target Njoku early and often, Njoku is primed for a huge Week 12 performance.
