TE: Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

Since Week 8, Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has been the PPR TE3 on a per-game basis, averaging 16.2 points per game. McBride has seen elite usage since Zach Ertz went on injured reserve with a quad injury and converted it into elite production. McBride has been so good that the Cardinals felt comfortable moving on from Ertz, granting his request to be released.

The return of Kyler Murray has also been a boon for McBride’s fantasy value. Murray targets McBride early and often, earning exactly nine targets in three of his past four games and 34 total targets in that span. That heavy dosage of targets should continue in Week 15, with the Cardinals hosting the 49ers, who are favored by 12.5 points, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

Murray, McBride, and the Cardinals offense are going to have to do what they can do to keep up with a 49ers offense that has been scoring at will this season, averaging 29.2 points per game. Given the fantasy-friendly environment, the good times should continue to roll for McBride and his fantasy managers this week.

Ending Week 15 as fantasy football’s highest-scoring tight end is within the realm of possibilities for McBride.
