Week 8 in the NFL season is here as we are already hitting the halfway point of the campaign. By this time, some things have become clear but Week 8 is also unique in the fact that there are no teams on bye.

So with all players at your disposal, there will be more options but in order to get into the money, you are going to have to find those players who are not only contrarian plays but contrarian plays that produce.

Here, I am going to give you a couple of plays at each position group that will help you build a productive lineup as the salaries attached to each of these guys won't break the bank and these players are also in a good position to produce this week.

Note: All prices are based on DraftKings player salaries

Quarterback

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans (at Carolina), $6300: Stroud has been a pleasant surprise for a Texans team that has been better than most thought it would be. He goes to Carolina here in a showdown between the top two picks in the draft and should have a chance to post good numbers against the league's last winless team.

Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Jacksonville), $4900: Pickett may not put up massive numbers but his salary would allow you to spend bigger at running back and wide receiver. The Jaguars rank 31st in the league against the pass and at home, Pickett is in a comfortable spot. A Pickett-George Pickens stack makes sense for me this week.
