Derek Carr, QB, New Orleans Saints

Carr left the Saints' Week 10 game with a right shoulder injury and a concussion, but the issue with his throwing shoulder was set aside as a non-issue and the Week 11 bye should allow him to clear concussion protocol. Heading into the bye week, head coach Dennis Allen said he was not considering a quarterback change.

As long as he keeps the starting job, the upcoming schedule looks good for Carr. From Week 12-17 he gets the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mike Clay of ESPN has that Week 15-17 playoff schedule (Giants, Rams, Buccaneers) as one of the best for a quarterback.

Prior to getting banged up in Week 10, Carr had multiple passing touchdowns or over 300 yards in five straight games. As a streaming option in one-quarterback leagues, and as QB2 options in two-quarterback or superflex leagues go, he should not be ignored on the waiver wire this week.
