Curtis Samuel, WR, Washington Commanders

After being ejected in Week 11 and being hampered by a toe injury before that, Samuel re-emerged with nine receptions (on 12 targets) for an even 100 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12. In his last six full healthy and available games, he has topped 50 yards or scored five times with eight targets in the other.

Week 13 brings a good, not-great matchup against the Miami Dolphins for the Commanders' wide receivers. But the Dolphins' offense is sure to have its way with a weak Washington defense, and Commanders' quarterback Sam Howell is leading the league in pass attempts. After a Week 14 bye, the Los Angeles Rams, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers are on the schedule from Week 15-17. The Jets are a tough matchup for wide receivers, but running out of the slot a lot would line Samuel up for a softer matchup there.

That Week 14 bye may turn a lot of fantasy managers away from adding Samuel. But he can help navigate a tough Week 13 bye as a streamer, and carry sustainable value in the fantasy playoffs as a WR3 with upside in PPR formats.
