Matthew Stafford, QB, Los Angeles Rams

Stafford threw for 279 yards with three touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13. He has seven touchdown passes over his last two games, after he had multiple passing touchdowns just once in his first nine games this season.

Stafford being in this space is all about his playoff schedule. A very tough matchup is coming in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens, so he's not a great starting option (the same would have been said going into the game against the Browns).

In Week 15-17 though, Stafford gets the Washington Commanders, New Orleans Saints and New York Giants. The Commanders entered Week 13 giving up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring), the Saints' mid-pack standing is elevated by facing a lot of bad quarterbacks and the Giants are another matchup that's better than it looks on the surface.

As long as Stafford is healthy himself and has all his targets healthy, he's likely to push toward QB1 finishes all three weeks of the fantasy playoffs. Now is the time to stash him if you have any quarterback concerns.
