As playoff time beckons, here are some fantasy football waiver wire adds to have on your radar in Week 14.

Roschon Johnson, RB, Chicago Bears

Khalil Herbert returned to the Bears' backfield in Week 11, but he only played seven more snaps than Johnson (32 to 25). In Week 12, Johnson played 52 snaps to Herbert's 15, with more carries (10 to 6) and five catches for 40 yards.

If D'Onta Foreman (ankle) is good to go coming off the Week 13 bye, the Bears' are lined up to deploy some kind of a three-man backfield rotation. But there's also a chance Johnson noticeably leads that three-man committee, with a versatile skill set to possibly push that case.

It'll be hard, if not impossible, to start Johnson as more than a desperation flex in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions. But this is the time on the fantasy calendar to trim roster fat and add players who can be useful and/or have upside. The rookie out of Texas is on that radar this week, in case Week 12 was a sign of usage that will come.
