Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season will end with two games on Monday night. With that, some playoff positioning or playoff seeds surely still need to be determined in a lot of fantasy football leagues. But for those locked into a playoff position, or in a league with a consolation bracket to win, should pay attention to the Week 15 waiver wire.

Here is Week 15's edition of "playing the waiver wire."

Fantasy Football Week 15 Waiver Wire

Matthew Stafford, QB, Los Angeles Rams

Stafford threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. He now has 10 touchdown passes over the last three games (at least three in all three), with over 275 yards in the last two. So much for tough matchups against the Ravens, and the Cleveland Browns the week before.

In Week 15 Stafford gets the Washington Commanders, who have allowed the most touchdown passes in the league this season (30) and only narrowly the second-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

After that Stafford gets better-than-you-think matchups against the New Orleans Saints (Week 16) and New York Giants (Week 17). The possibility of bad weather on the road against the Giants is worth noting, but the conditions weren't exactly great on the road against the Ravens and Stafford thrived.

Stafford is healthy, and so are all his weapons. He has legit league-winning upside in the fantasy playoffs for anyone with a quarterback need.
