Tyjae Spears, RB, Tennessee Titans

The Titans didn't get much going offensively in Week 15 against the Houston Texans, including 16 carries for nine yards from Derrick Henry. The loss also officially eliminated them from playoff contention and spurred an existential crisis for Henry as he surely nears the end of his time with the Titans.

So the Titans can and should get a look at their young players, including the rookie Spears of course. He is already playing a good amount, and that snap share may get a boost over the final three games. Henry won't be outright benched, but if he's the proverbial lead back from here on it would be surprising.

In Week 16 Spears will get a nice-looking matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, who entered Week 15 allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to running backs (Yahoo!, 0.5-point PPR). Week 17 brings a rematch with the Texans.

It's rare to find a running back who should have an unabated, unimpacted by the health of someone else, path to 60-plus percent of the snaps and 15-20 touches off the waiver wire at this point in the season. Spears is probably owned in the most competitive fantasy leagues, but it's definitely worth checking to see if he's available in yours.
