Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Edwards-Helaire's numbers weren't great on Christmas Day against the Las Vegas Raiders (four carries for six yards, three catches for 42 yards). But Jerick McKinnon (groin) was placed on IR over the weekend, and Isaiah Pacheco suffered a concussion during the game, leaving CEH as the lead back to finish the game.

When Pacheco missed Week 14 and 15 with a shoulder issue, Edwards-Helaire had games with 68 and 101 total yards and over the last three games now he has nine catches on 11 targets with a touchdown through the air.

Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals is a decent matchup for a running back. They have allowed a rushing score to the position in four of their last five games, and a running back has had at least three catches against them in five straight contests.

Edwards-Helaire may have all the work in the Chiefs' backfield to himself next week. On the prospect of that sheer volume, say 15-20 touches based on the recent games Pacheco missed, he's a must-add heading toward Week 17.
