Fantasy Football: Playing the waiver wire-Week 17

Okonkwo had six catches for 63 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. He has at least six targets in three of his last four games, with at least 8.5 full PPR points in four of his last five.

The one exception to both of the aforementioned streaks came in Week 15 against the Houston Texans (three catches for 36 yards), but Okonwo gets another shot at a great matchup in Week 17. The Texans entered Week 16 allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends (Yahoo! scoring, 0/5-point PPR), and David Njoku posted six catches for 44 yards and a touchdown against them on Christmas Eve.

Okonkwo carries a fair amount of downside based on what he did (or didn't do) against the Texans in the first matchup. But he's a viable streaming option for anyone with a need for a tight end in Week 17.
