Fantasy Football: Week 2 buy and sell candidates

One week into the NFL and Fantasy Football season and it's time to overreact. If you lost in Week 1, you're likely already wondering what is wrong with your team. Sometimes, the best move is to stay the course and make the right move at the right time, rather than jumping on the first one that comes up.

Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets: Sell

I could go either way on this one, because it had to be nice for Breece Hall owners to see him play so well on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills. However, I lean towards selling for one reason: Zack Wilson.

With the devastating news that Aaron Rodgers is going to miss the entire 2023 season, every player on the Jets became so much less appealing. Defenses around the league are not going to be at all worried about Wilson as QB and will stack the box against the Jets.

Make no mistake, I wouldn't give Hall up cheap, but if the right deal is there, take it.

You also likely sat at your draft looking at the owners who may have wanted Hall, they were just afraid to pull the trigger on a player coming off a torn ACL suffered in October. Perhaps you can parlay his big Week 1 into a trade to get a top-tier player off of one of their rosters.

Much like the case with Samuel, the value is there so don't do anything crazy, but floating out an offer to test the waters won't hurt and you could start a negotiation process that could go into the season.
