Fantasy Football Week 2 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em

Week 1 of the 2023 fantasy season has already come and gone. Now it's time to either get the ball rolling towards a winning streak or doing everything you can to prevent yourself from starting the year 0-2.

Defense/Special Teams

Start- Denver Broncos (vs. Washington): This isn't a can't-miss matchup, because the Broncos lacked a pass rush against the Raiders in Week 1, but the Raiders were also making to sure to get the ball out quickly. Against the far less experienced Sam Howell and the Commanders, the Broncos should keep the score low in this one and they could force a turnover or two.

Also start: Philadelphia Eagles (vs. Minnesota), New York Giants (at Arizona)

Sit: Minnesota Vikings (at Philadelphia): I never like to play players or in this case, teams, that are the road team in the Thursday Night Football game. The Vikings struggled against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers and could do a lot more than struggle against a terrific Eagles team.

Also sit: New York Jets (at Dallas), New England Patriots (vs. Miami)
