Fantasy Football: 5 wide receivers to avoid starting in Week 12
By Brandon Ray
With the fantasy football playoffs in reaching distance, there is not much time left for fantasy owners to make mistakes if they are fighting for a playoff spot. If you had any Steelers' receivers last week, quarterbacked by Kenny Pickett in your starting lineups, chances are that your game was closer than it probably should have been.
Heading into Week 12, there are more high-profiled receivers on this list and if they are on your fantasy team, consider putting them on the bench that way your Thanksgiving weekend is not ruined.
Here are the five wide receivers to avoid starting this week in fantasy.
5.) Rondale Moore vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Arizona Cardinals are much more competitive since quarterback Kyler Murray came back into the lineup two weeks ago. So far, they have beaten the Atlanta Falcons, but lost to the Houston Texans last week. While the Cardinals have been performing better, wideout Rondale Moore has not been a huge impactful player, despite being a deep threat in the offense. While he did have a 48 yard touchdown reception last week, that was his only target of the day, while adding on 2 rushed for 6 yards.
More clinched double digit points last week for the first time since Week 5, but if it was not for that one long pass, he would have had less than one point. The last time the Cardinals played against the Rams in Week 6, Moore recorded 4 catches for 30 yards, but lost four rushing yards. Avoid starting him this week.
