Fantasy Football: 5 wide receivers to avoid starting in Week 12
By Brandon Ray
4.) Davante Adams vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Even though Davante Adams had a rough five game stretch from Week 5 to Week 9, he has been targeted 26 times in the last two weeks. He even recorded his first touchdown since Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. While the Raiders failed to make a comeback against the Miami Dolphins, Adams finished the game with 7 catches for 82 yards and a score. It is rivalry week between the Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. The first meeting of the two teams that have a very underrated rivalry will be in Arrowhead, which is already a disadvantage for Adams.
Not only that, but the Chiefs’ defense has been amazing this season. They managed to keep guys like Tyreek Hill and A.J. Brown, quiet in their meetings against the Dolphins and the Eagles. Between Hill and Brown, the two combined for 9 catches for 70 yards and no touchdowns. They both had a non-rookie quarterback as well. Adams is not the best play this week going up against the Chiefs, making this move to the bench not as hard as it might have been weeks ago.
