Winner: Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane

"Every dead-end street led you straight to me"

All of the Girls You Loved Before (2023)

Most avid fantasy football players stashed rookie De'Von Achane ahead of the 2023 season, but the speedster didn't get his first true opportunity until Sunday. With Jeff Wilson Jr. on injured reserve and Salvon Ahmed out, all the dead-end streets led Mike McDaniel to Achane.

All the Texas A&M product did was rush 18 times for 203 yards and two scores, while also catching four passes for an additional 30 yards and another pair of touchdowns. In total, 51.3 fantasy points and a 70 (!!!) point day for the Miami Dolphins offense.

Alongside teammate Raheem Mostert, the Dolphins rushed for a franchise-record 350 yards, and the duo joined Ronnie Brown as the only Miami backs to score four touchdowns in a game. McDaniel was cryin' in the bathroom for some dude whose name he cannot remember now. Even if Ahmed returns next week and even when Wilson returns in Week 5, Achane has staked his claim in Miami's backfield.
