Follow this blueprint to win your Fantasy Football league in 2023
- Going RB first is done
- The right handcuff can be the best draft pick
Watch preseason games
People scoff at this, because preseason games are considered "meaningless" by most, but one of the best ways to get a leg up on the players in your league is to watch preseason games. And not just watch them, watch them intently.
After the games, look at the box scores, watch the highlights again. This is the best way for you to identify players that no one else will be thinking of when the draft comes around.
So when you're on the clock in your league and you take a guy that many of the players in your league have never even heard of, and that pick is met with some snickering, you will be the one with the last laugh when that player becomes a key piece of your team when they get a shot due to injury or something to that effect.
Particularly in deep leagues or dynasty leagues, watching preseason games can be huge. NFL Network often airs replays of the games that took place and you can watch nearly all of them, if you have the time.
If not, go check those box scores. You won't be disappointed when that sleeper player hits for you.
