First off, if you had Mark Andrews as your starting tight end up until last week, I am sorry. With his season-ending leg/foot injustice that he suffered against the Cincinnati Bengals, it puts a lot of fantasy teams at risk of potentially making the playoffs or even making a run in the playoffs. Despite only scoring just over 10 points total in the last two weeks of football, Andrews still proved to be a valuable option at tight end, which included two games over 20+ points.

With Andrews officially gone until next season, the next man up at tight end is Isaiah Likely, who was drafted in the 4th round of the 2022 draft. In his career, Likely has played in 27 games, catching 45 passes for 462 yards and 3 touchdowns. This season, he has just 9 catches for 89 yards. With him having to be behind a guy like Andrews, this is no surprise to his production so far on the season. However, that is destined to change moving forward.

Is Isaiah Likely a must-start tight end in fantasy football for Week 12?

Well, it simply depends on two things...if you are able to get him on your roster and what other options you may have on your roster. Likely has just two games with 20+ receiving yards on the season, including a 4 catch for 42 yard game against the Seattle Seahawks three weeks ago.

The good news for Likely is that he will be facing the Los Angeles Chargers, who have been struggling all season long to tight ends. Another benefit the overall Baltimore offense is that the Chargers lost edge rusher Joey Bosa as he heads to the IR after being carted off last week with a foot injury.

Likely has a great matchup this week and should very well get involved with the Ravens' offense, making him a great start candidate this week if you are able to get him on your roster.
