Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor could be on the move.

It was reported on Monday that the Colts have given their star running back permission to seek a trade. The Colts are reportedly seeking at least a first-round pick in return.

The team that acquires Taylor would have to give up a hefty haul to the Colts in addition to signing Taylor to a new deal as he is in the last year of his contract. There may not be a lot of teams interested because of all of that, but teams that consider themselves contenders may certainly be thinking about it.

Of course, this is huge news for fantasy owners, specifically those in a keeper or dynasty league but even in a redraft format, this could certainly change your strategy for an upcoming fantasy draft.

Last year at this time, Taylor was the No. 1 player on most fantasy boards out there. If the Colts were to trade him to any of these three teams, he could remain a massive piece to own in any fantasy format.

Potential Jonathan Taylor trade partner: Miami Dolphins

This is the first team that should come to everyone's mind, for multiple reasons.

The Miami Dolphins are certainly in the mix of top AFC teams with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle at the wide receiver positions and adding one of the game's best pure runners would make that offense quite dangerous.

But it's the way that the Dolphins run the ball that makes it an attractive landing spot for Taylor.

Last season, the Dolphins ran the ball effectively with a creative, committed rushing attack under first-year head coach Mike McDaniel. But they did that with guys like Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson.

Taylor would be a significant upgrade over the backs on this roster and it seems evident that the team is looking for that as they were involved in several rumors connected to Dalvin Cook, who ultimately signed with the New York Jets.

Look for the Dolphins to be heavily involved in any potential trade talks surrounding Taylor.
