One QB, RB, WR, and TE primed for huge Week 9 fantasy football performances

WR: Nico Collins, Houston Texans
After C.J. Stroud’s impressive start to his rookie season, he’s begun to hit the infamous and dreaded “rookie wall,” which has had a trickle-down effect on the Texans receivers such as Nico Collins and Tank Dell. As Stroud navigates through his growing pains, it will impact Collins at times, but Week 9 is not one of those moments.
In Week 9, Stroud, Collins, and the Texans have an inviting matchup against a Bucs defensive unit that allows the fifth-most passing yards per game (256.0) and the sixth-most opponent completions per game (25.1).
Texans running back Dameon Pierce seems to be on the wrong side of questionable after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday this week, which could force the Texans to lean into a pass-heavy approach against a team that struggles to defend the pass. Collins has seen at least nine targets in three of the Texans’ seven games this season and in those games, he averages 25.8 PPR points per game.
Not to mention, Collins also ranks ninth amongst all wide receivers in yards produced after the catch (256). Assuming Collins is in line to see a voluminous workload against the Bucs, he needs to be plugged into all fantasy lineups.
