Detroit Lions: Jameson Williams, Wide Receiver

The Detroit Lions are a very complete team that had a terrific 2023 draft that included adding Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta. But a player that was a high draft pick not long ago seems to be hitting his stride.

Jameson Williams, a player the Lions took a chance on as a first-round pick in 2022 despite tearing his ACL in the College Football National Championship Game is a player with an upside that is easy to see.

After a quiet rookie season that saw him catch just one pass (which went for a touchdown), Williams caught 24 passes for 354 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season this year. It's been a slow start for Williams, requiring patience on the part of fantasy managers, but it could certainly end up being worth the wait.

With a clean bill of health and having to serve a six-game suspension for gambling this season behind him, Williams has a bright future in front of him. The Lions have Amon-Ra St. Brown as their No. 1 option in the passing game but Williams can become one of the league's better No. 2 guys as soon as the 2024 season.

This is a guy I would look to buy low on if at all possible. If he is already on your roster, your patience with him is going to pay off.
