20. Joshua Karty, Los Angeles Rams

2023 rank: NA
Field goals: NA
Extra points: NA

As the second kicker taken in the 2024 Draft, Karty did not have many attempts in college but was on point when he was brought onto the field. He hit 85 percent of his career attempts while missing just two kicks within 50 yards. His accuracy was a concern during his first season at Stanford but Karty improved on that part of his game during his final two years, making 70 percent of his kicks beyond 50, including a career-high 61-yarder. Los Angeles attempted the most field goals in the league in 2023 but just could not find any single player to consistently employ.G

19. Eddy Pineiro, Carolina Panthers

2023 rank: 27
Field goals: 25-29 (86%)
Extra points: 17-20 (85%)

On percentage alone, Piineiro is the third-most accurate kicker in NFL history but he has just 100 career attempts. Regardless, Pineiro has been reliable when given the opportunity in his four years in th league, particularly at distance where he is 10-12 from beyond 50 yards in his career. While he had a down year in 2023 largely based on the lack of volume, Pineiro was the sixth-best fantasy kicker in 2022 and could return to that range if the Carolina offense makes the improvements they are expected to in Bryce Young's second season.

18. Jake Moody, San Francisco 49ers

2023 rank: 19
Field goals: 21-25 (84%)
Extra points: 60-61 (98%)

Moody had a respectable year for a rookie in 2023, just as good as one anybody would expect from a kicker selected in the third round of the draft. After a strong start to the year, Moody hit a wall in the middle of the season before finishing fairly well but still had just 25 overall attempts on the year. In an offense that is so efficient, Moody does not get the volume as some of his peers to be elite but he did lead the league in extra points in 2023 with 60. As one of the best collegiate kickers of all time, the talent is there but the offense is almost too good for him to make a real impact.

17. Blake Grupe, New Orleans Saints

2023 rank: 9
Field goals: 30-37 (81%)
Extra points: 40-40 (100%)

Grupe was a top-10 fantasy kicker in 2023 but had the lowest accuracy of any other player on the list, connecting on just 81 percent of his kicks. Instead, Grupe was carried by volume with 37 attempts on the year and hitting all 40 of his extra points. He struggled at points throughout his rookie year, including missing two kicks from inside 30 yards, and is currently fighting to retain his job with former Gaelic football player Charlie Smyth. It is tough to say a rookie who finished in the top 10 may find himself without a job the following season but that is the position Grupe currently finds himself in, preventing himself from being ranked any higher.

16. Tyler Bass, Buffalo Bills

2023 rank: 17
Field goals: 24-29 (83%)
Extra points: 49-50 (98%)

Buffalo does not have another kicker on its roster aside from Bass but could be in the market for one with the 27-year-old struggling immensely during the preseason. Per The Athletic, Bass played in all three preseason games and hit just two field goals beyond extra point range on his 12 attempts. For a player who attempted a career-low 29 field goals in 2023, Bass' value cannot be trusted until he proves otherwise.
