This is the team that would increase Tee Higgins' fantasy football value the most

The defending champs should see what it would take to get the Bengals' No. 2 WR.

Though the Cincinnati Bengals chose to place the franchise tag on wide receiver Tee Higgins, he has requested a trade from the team as of Monday morning.

Higgins has been a great player for the Bengals while being the team's clear No. 2 option behind Ja'Marr Chase. He has 257 receptions for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns. He can do a little bit of everything. He's a great route runner with solid hands and he can fly on the deep route.

It seems he doesn't want to play under the franchise tag and wants a long-term deal. Wouldn't he look good in Kansas City? Bengals fans would not agree but your fantasy roster would love it.

Higgins would become the easy No. 1 option catching passes from the best quarterback in the league, Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl with an incredibly average wide receiver room but they will likely look for a big upgrade this offseason to pair with last season's rookie standout, Rashee Rice.

Higgins, a second-round choice in 2020, has career highs of 74 receptions, 1,091 yards and seven touchdowns in a season. Those numbers would likely be his floor in KC.

However, a trade for Higgins by any team is going to be hard to justify. In addition to having to send the Bengals a high draft pick, he would also have to be signed to a deal that would pay him in the neighborhood of $25 million per season. Just look at the new deal signed by Michael Pittman for proof of that.

However, if any team could afford to make this move, it is the Chiefs. They are looking to become the first team in NFL history to three-peat as Super Bowl champs. They would also take away from one of their main AFC roadblocks in the Bengals (so long as Joe Burrow is healthy).

It would bolster their odds of winning that third Super Bowl and turn Higgins into an even bigger fantasy football piece.
