Week 11 fantasy football flops and what you should do about them
Amari Cooper
Cooper's last three games ended with double digit points with one of those games at 24.9. But with Deshaun Watson out, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson didn't throw downfield as often which is Cooper's sweet spot. Cooper excelled without Watson last year and could do so again with his next game against Denver. Denver has been winning, but they have a tendency to give up points (21 against the Vikings and 22 against the Bills).
Denver's defense is 19th in Fantasy, but, more importantly, they give up the 23rd most passing yards in the league and the 30th most passing touchdowns. He has never had two down weeks in a row this season. With so little film on Thompson-Robinson, you have to look at Cooper as Untrustworthy. If they take the training wheels off Thompson-Robinson, things could change, but it's a risk. Davante Adams has rebounded nicely with his rookie quarterback; Cooper would love to do the same.
