Josh Allen had 39.66 Fantasy points last weekend and Jalen Hurts had 34.50 points, very far from Week 12 Fantasy Flops territory. And that was just one game. The Fantasy scorecards were blowing up in Week 12. But not everyone had a great day. First, let's look back at last week's predictions.

  • Terry McLaurin was a Bench last week as he faced Dallas. Sure enough, the Commanders got destroyed and McLaurin had four receptions and 9 Fantasy points.
  • Amari Cooper was labeled Untrustworthy due to a lack of confidence in the Browns quarterback situation. Cooper couldn't be trusted at all as he finised with 3.60 points.
  • Travis Etienne was identified as a Blip after two weeks under 10 points. He slightly improved last week to 12.60. The Jaguars game against the Texans was the shootout we expected as Trevor Lawrence had 364 yards, but the ground game only had 81 yards total. Etienne got the touches (20) but averaged just 2.8 yards/carry. His four receptions carried him into double digits. The sledding doesn't get any easier as he faces Cincinatti and Cleveland in the next two weeks. Etienne still stands as the RB3 in the league, and you can't bench him, but he probably is Untrustworthy at this point.
  • Jordan Addison was a Blip last week as he was expected to feast on the Bears defense on Monday night, but it turns out that the Bears D may be more formidable than we thought. With four interceptions on the night, the Bears held Addison to 9.90 points.
  • The Jets defense was a Bench this week as they faced a massive Dolphins offense this week. The Jets were blown out, 34-13, but they turned in three turnovers which included a pick-6 and a glowing 13 points.

These were some of the biggest flops for fantasy football in Week 12

Joshua Dobbs

Since coming over from the Cardinals, Dobbs has kept the Vikings playoff hopes alive. And that is without Justin Jefferson. He had averaged 22.30 points per game with at least one rushing touchdown in every game. Over the three games, he had one interception. Against the Bears, many had him on the must start list.

It definitely did not go that way. Dobbs had 185 yards passing, 11 yards rushing, and a mighty four interceptions. A fourth quarter touchdown raised his points to 4.50 but it looked like it could have been a negative day for Dobbs before that.

The Vikings have their bye next week and then face the juicy Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14. The Raiders have been very helpful to quarterback stats, even the Bears' Tyler Bagent. The Raiders give up the 20th most passing yards in the league and the 20th most passing touchdowns. And Justin Jefferson will be back next week. I see Dobbs bouncing back, this week was a Blip.
