With six teams on bye this week, options at quarterback are slim for fantasy football in Week 13. This week, six teams are on bye and that includes Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. It only adds pressure to a position that has seen a number of top players suffer season-ending injuries like Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Anthony Richardson, and Deshaun Watson.

The best options aren't necessarily that obvious but there are some sleepers that could be in line for big games this week that could help fantasy football teams.

Derek Carr (vs. Detroit Lions)

The New Orleans Saints return from their bye wee to play the Atlanta Falcons and the week off couldn't have been at a better time for Derek Carr. The Saints starting quarterback left their last game early due to a concussion but was able to return against the Falcons.

While Carr would not throw any touchdowns, he did surpass 300 passing yards and this week has a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are one of the best teams in the NFL, but the pass defense has not played very well over the past month.

Over the past four weeks, the Lions are allowing the second most points to quarterbacks and they have eight passing touchdowns and only one interception. The Saints are going to have to score points to keep pace with Detroit and this could mean Derek Carr throwing a lot.
