While James Cook had a breakout performance at running back, there were a number of running backs who underperformed, like Breece Hall and Bijan Robinson. Looking ahead to Week 16, one of those running backs has to be in fantasy football lineups in what should be a bounce-back week.

3 must-start running backs for fantasy football in Week 16

Breece Hall (vs. Washington Commanders)

It has been a horrible season for the New York Jets offense with the injury to Aaron Rodgers. One player who was expected to be one of the top running backs, Breece Hall, has certainly been one of the players impacted the most.

What has been the most frustrating is that Hall just hasn't been getting much of a workload this season, even with the questions at quarterback. Last week against the Dolphins, he had only six carries and two targets.

This week, the Jets are playing a Commanders defense that is allowing the second most fantasy points to running backs. It should be a big week for Breece Hall as he is heavily involved in the gameplan.

Bijan Robinson (vs. Indianapolis Colts)

Bijan Robinson is another running back that has been in fantasy football lineups most weeks but had a disappointing game in Week 15. He finished the game with only seven rushing attempts and three receptions as the Falcons would lose 9-7 to the Carolina Panthers.

Similar to Breece Hall, the Atlanta Falcons should lean on their star running back as the Indianapolis Colts have struggled against the run. Over the past month, the Colts are allowing the third most fantasy points per game to running backs. It should be a week where Robinson gets 15+ touches and returns to being a Top 12 option at the position.

Rachaad White (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)

Over the past two weeks, Rachaad White has been one of the best running backs in fantasy football. He has finished in the Top 7 the past two weeks and has had over 20 fantasy points in PPR leagues.

White has averaged over 20 rushing attempts per game and had at least 80 rushing yards each game. He continues to be involved in the receiving game as well with 11 receptions and roughly 25 receiving yards each game. The past two games he has had one receiving touchdown as well.

The Jaguars defense has struggled during the same time frame and allowed the fourth most rushing touchdowns (4) and the sixth most receptions (26) in the last month. This game is set up perfectly for White to keep his streak of Top 10 finishes intact.
