With the 2023 season now complete, it is time to look back at some of the biggest misses at quarterback in fantasy football. Entering the season, there were a number of players who were expected to take that next step in their career or were in a new situation that could help them be in the discussion of a Top 12 quarterback this season.

Based on the average draft position (ADP) on FantasyPros and where these quarterbacks finished in terms of points per game, these were four of the biggest misses in fantasy.

Trevor Lawrence

ADP: QB8
Points Per Game: 17.3 (QB17)

The hype around Trevor Lawrence began before he even entered the NFL as he was one of the best quarterback prospects since Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning from what he showed at Clemson. He would be the first overall pick in 2021 and after a disastrous season with Urban Meyer, Lawrence put together a pretty good season with 30 total touchdowns and eight interceptions last year

At times, Lawrence showed what makes him a top quarterback with a three-week stretch finishing inside the Top 6. Unfortunately, injuries really limited his impact and while he would start 16 games he didn't look great as his touchdowns to 25 while his interceptions increased to 14.

The talent is certainly there and he could end up being a Top 10 quarterback but after this season, he is definitely a risky pick.
