4 fantasy football takeaways from Titans vs. Steelers in Week 9
On Thursday night, the Tennessee Titans looked to earn their fourth win of the season and Will Levis was hoping to move to 2-0 as a starter. The Titans would come up short against the Steelers by a final score of 20-16 after Levis threw an interception late.
These are some of the top takeaways from the Thursday Night Football matchup.
Will Levis is a QB1 for the remainder of the 2023 season
Will Levis had an incredible debut in the NFL last week against the Atlanta Falcons with four passing touchdowns. He wasn't as productive this week against the Steelers as he finished with 262 passing yards, no touchdowns and the one interception late.
However, this performance was promising as the Steelers have a good defense and it was a short week of preparation for the rookie quarterback. He was clearly the best quarterback on the field and looked better than Kenny Pickett.
Moving forward, Levis is absolutely a QB1 and one that can be started almost every week. He has some tough, but manageable games coming up against the Bucs, Jaguars and Panthers. However, after that stretch it gets much easier with games against the Colts, Dolphins, Texans, Seahawks and then Texans again.
If you picked up Will Levis off waiver wires this past week, it is a move that should pay off down the stretch.
