The Houston Texans on Friday listed rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud as doubtful after he did not practice all week due to a concussion. While he hasn't been officially ruled out, fantasy football managers should plan to not have Stroud in the first week of playoffs.

These are four quarterbacks that are worth starting in fantasy football in place of C.J. Stroud.

Matthew Stafford (vs. Washington Commanders)

Matthew Stafford was a popular waiver wire target this week as he has now had three straight weeks with three or more touchdowns. He has been able to produce against good defenses too as the last two weeks, Stafford has played against the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.

This week, the Rams are playing the Washington Commanders who have allowed the second most points to quarterbacks over the past four weeks. He has a great chance to have a Top 10 finish this week and would be a great replacement for Stroud.
