The running back position is one of the toughest for dynasty fantasy football. It is a demanding position and it is rare for players to remain in the Top 5 for an extended period of time.

That is why it is important to have depth at the position and consistently looking ahead to see which running backs could be in line for bigger roles in the future. These are four running backs that potentially could be on the waiver wire that should be added now.

Zamir White

Josh Jacobs led the league in rushing yards last season but this year hasn't been as productive. The issue seemingly has stemmed from the coaching staff and the offense as in the first game without Josh McDaniels, Jacobs had 98 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Entering this offseason, Jacobs is set to be a free agent and while there is still a chance he could return to Las Vegas, the franchise might be looking for a fresh start with a new coaching staff. If they do, then Zamir White has a great chance to be the top running back for this offense.

White was a fourth round pick by the Raiders in the 2022 NFL Draft after a productive career with the Georgia Bulldogs where he averaged 5.3 yards per carry. He is a big running back that can handle 15-20 carries a game and be a natural replacement for Jacobs.
