4 performances in first half of 2023 no one saw coming in fantasy football
Zack Moss
For anyone that drafted before the end of August, likely drafted Jonathan Taylor at great value as he slipped down draft boards. He was in an ugly contract dispute with the Colts and was given the green light to search for a trade.
That trade ultimately never happened and Taylor actually would end up on the PUP list and miss the first four weeks of the season. For anyone who drafted Taylor, they hopefully added Zack Moss as a handcuff.
The Bills former third round pick got a chance to be the primary back and was one of the top running backs to begin the season. In the first four games, Moss averaged over 110 rushing yards and had three rushing touchdowns during that stretch.
The 445 rushing yards during that stretch almost matched his season high of 481 rushing yards as a rookie. The return of Jonathan Taylor has really limited his opportunities but he still has had 50 or more rushing yards in two of the games and has two rushing touchdowns during that stretch.
