There is still one game left in Week 9 when the New York Jets host the Los Angeles Chargers. The matchup isn't as appealing as it was earlier this year when Aaron Rodgers was expected to be the starting quarterback for the Jets.

For any leagues that allows managers to pick up players up until their game is played, these are four players that should be added before the Monday Night game as players to add to the bench in hopes they have a big game.

Quentin Johnston

The Los Angeles Chargers added Joshua Palmer to the injured reserve over the weekend and he has seen his role grow the most since Mike Williams injury at the end of September. In the past five games, Palmer has had 19 receptions, averaged 72 receiving yards per game and found the end zone once.

With Palmer now out for at least the next four games, Justin Herbert is going to need another wide receiver to step up alongside Keenan Allen to keep this offense on track. That player should be first round pick Quentin Johnston.

The rookie wide receiver has been pretty quiet this season with only seven receptions over the first six games. However, last week against the Bears he had five receptions on six targets for 50 yards (all career highs).

If Johnston does get the target share that Palmer was getting, he is an easy waiver wire add and one that could be a starter over the coming weeks.
