Josh Allen finishes the year as the highest scoring quarterback

The first one isn't necessarily very bold considering Buffalo Bills quarterback has been the highest scoring quarterback in most leagues for two of the past three years. Last season, he didn't finish first but was second and less than a point per game behind Patrick Mahomes, according to FantasyPros.

Through the first eight games, Allen once again finds himself near the top of the position as he leads the league in total touchdowns with 17 passing touchdowns and five rushing touchdowns. The rushing component of his game has been a big reason for ranking near the top and he has been running more as of late with seven rushing attempts each of the past two games, compared to fewer than five in five of the first six games this season.

The Bills have a very tough schedule in the second half of the year but this could work in Josh Allen's favor in terms of fantasy football. The coaching staff will lean more on their starting quarterback and the rushing numbers should continue while he also sees an increase in pass attempts.
