Jared Goff is a Top 5 quarterback for the remainder of the season

Jared Goff had an excellent season last year with the Detroit Lions and that trend has continued this year as he already has 2,174 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and five interceptions through eight games.

The reason that Goff might be even better over the second half of the season is that he has some additional playmakers around him and a very favorable schedule. The Lions are still trying to work in Jameson Williams, last year's first round pick, and he should see more playing time as the year goes along.

In addition, they traded for wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones at the trade deadline, and running back Jahmyr Gibbs had a breakout game and that should make this offense even more efficient.

When also taking into account a schedule that includes two games against the Bears, two games against the Vikings, and one game against the Chargers, Jared Goff should have some big games down the stretch and finish as a Top 5 quarterback for the remainder of the year.
