Tony Pollard

Tony Pollard was one of those players that had a ton excitement around his potential this season after Ezekiel Elliott was released and the Cowboys didn't really bring anyone in to challenge Pollard for snaps.

However, this season has been a struggle for Pollard and against the Rams was no different. He finished the game with only 12 carries for 53 yards while not really getting much work in the passing game with one target (which he caught) for two yards.

The bigger issue for Pollard this season has been he hasn't been able to find the end zone. He had two touchdowns in the first game of the season against the Giants but hasn't had a score since then. Pollard's workload has also steadily decreased after averaging 20 carries per game the first three weeks but only 11.5 over the past four games.

He is not a running back that can necessarily be benched because he does have a majority of the work at running back for the Cowboys but expectations moving forward should be him as a middle-tier RB2 and not a running back that will consistently produce like an RB1.
