5 quarterbacks to avoid for fantasy football in Week 16

There are some challenging matchups for quarterbacks this week and it is not an ideal time for it with fantasy football playoffs in full swing. When looking ahead to the upcoming games, these are five quarterbacks I would avoid starting if possible.

Lamar Jackson (vs. San Francisco 49ers)

It would be tough to bench Lamar Jackson, especially when considering he has had three Top 10 finishes in his past four games. He has been much more producitve during this stretch but he also has been playing below average defenses during that run.

This week, the Ravens are playing a 49ers defense has been one of the best against quarterbacks this season. They have allowed the fifth fewest points to quarterbacks this season and have done a pretty good job limiting quarterbacks on the ground with allowing only one rushing touchdown this season.

There may not be clear cut better options at this point but expectations will need to be tempered this week for Lamar Jackson.
