Staying the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills drafted Justin Shorter in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He has yet to play in a game this season as he has been on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Shorter was productive during the preseason as he had six catches, 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. He is a big wide receiver at 6'4" and 223 pounds that will line up as an outside wide receiver in this offense.
The Buffalo Bills are almost certainly going to make some changes this offseason at wide receiver and the only player likely secure in his spot is Stefon Diggs. Meanwhile, Gabe Davis is set to be a free agent after the season and Shorter could be the replacement the team needs to fill the vacancy.
