Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir to have bigger roles moving forward

Going back to Thursday night, the Buffalo Bills appeared to make a shift in their offense after Dawson Knox was placed on injured reserve due to a wrist injury. So far this season, the Bills have played a lot of two tight end sets but with Knox not being available it was more three wide receier sets.

The Bills offense got off to a great start with this change as they scored 24 points in the first three quarters. The two players that benefited the most in this game was tight end Dalton Kincaid and wide receiver Khalil Shakir.

Kincaid has been more involved as of late and against the Bucs got his first career touchdown while catching five passes for 65 yards. The rookie tight end is going to be a big part of this offense and is essentially a must-start every week moving forward.

As for Khalil Shakir, he led the Bills in receiving yards with 92 yards while catching all six of his targets. It remains to be seen if this was due to the matchup or if Shakir is going to be that slot receiver moving forward. He is a player worth picking up on the waiver wire but might have to wait a few weeks to see how if he remains as involved.
