Caleb Williams might not declare, what about your dynasty league?

2. Still stock up on 2024 selections
This may be a blessing in disguise if you are looking to make trades to get picks from teams that may finish at the bottom of your league. Rather than acting like trading for that pick is trading for Williams himself, there is now the question of how valuable is that pick and you can use that at the negotiation table.
If you are looking to trade your first rounder however, your pick got a bit less valuable with this news, so it goes both ways here, but this greatly benefits those looking to get more picks for this year's class. Williams aside, you may be able to now get picks with the intention of acquiring a Harrison or a Bowers for much cheaper.
This all depends on your position in the league, if you have the assets to make a move, or if you are the one tanking, but still focus on giving yourself a chance to get him, especially if you need a quarterback. Williams is a can't-miss fantasy player the same way a guy like Trevor Lawrence was. He is a solution to your quarterback issues for the next decade-plus for your team. This makes him a player worth giving up assets for, and fits perfectly if you are in one of the many leagues with the Superflex option.
Do what you have to do to put yourself in a position to get a player of this caliber, and if he stays another year, take the picks you just got trying to get Williams and trade back for some 2025 first-rounders, if possible.
