It was an excellent week of football as a number of games went down to the final whistle. There was also a number of notable takeaways for fantasy football that I believe will have an impact for the remainder of the season.

I believe that C.J. Stroud is a Top 5 quarterback for the remainder of 2023

C.J. Stroud had a historic performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 470 passing yards (an NFL record for a rookie) while also throwing five touchdown passes. Entering Week 10, Stroud was a quarterback that I was avoiding as the Bengals were coming off a good game against Josh Allen and a rookie on the road is always a concern, regardless of how well they played the week prior.

However, C.J. Stroud proved me wrong and I am a full believer moving forward in the rookie. He finished this game with over 250 passing yards and two touchdowns. I believe he not only is the favorite for Rookie of the Year but is now in the discussion for MVP. For fantasy football, Stroud is going to be one of the best quarterbacks moving forward.

Over the next seven weeks (Week 11-Week 17), the Texans are home for five of those games and he has some very favorable matchups against the Cardinals, Jaguars, Broncos, and two against the Titans. I believe that C.J. Stroud is one of the best quarterbacks managers could have in their fantasy football lineup for the rest of 2023.
